Over the past twenty years, David has built a diverse music industry skill set, from performance to publicity and marketing to artist and label relations. Educated at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and New England Conservatory, he has given hundreds of performances across the U.S. as a solo artist and musical director, and as a founding member of indie rock band The Middle Eight and The Turner Ave Jazz Quartet. He developed a passion for artist development working in publicity, helping to break new artists through coverage in national media from the New York Times to NPR, ultimately leading him to pursue artist relations at Vevo. For the better part of the last ten years, David has overseen Vevo’s artist and label team, partnering with artists of all levels to help them achieve the next step of their careers through curation, original content partnerships, and video strategy.
